For some reason the caller ID on my wife’s phone had my name on it. I called Sprint and asked them to change her caller ID to her name. The left her called ID alone and changed my caller ID to her name but they mispelled it. I have now placed ten calls to Sprint over the past six weeks and have been told each time that they have corrected my caller ID. But guess what, it still has my wife.s name misspelled. Every time they give me some ridiculous reason. The last was my favorite. “We have changed the caller ID on our end. You need to notify everyone you call that they have to change it on their end.” Are you kidding me? So now I’ve spent 6 hours in nine phone calls to Sprint and my caller ID still has a misspelled version of my wife’s name. They even offered me a credit on my bill of $100. But guess what? No credit was ever posted. To top it all off, I’ve told them 20 times that I don’t want anyone to access my account by the last 4 digits of my ss. They say every time that they have corrected that so my password is required. But guess what. Every single time I have called them to get the caller ID changed, they have asked for the last 4 of my social, I have given it to them and they have accessed my account. They are utterly incompetent and I’m changing services.
